Irvine invites you to attend our annual Native Plant Seminar & Sale, held each August. The 2010 seminar will feature three sepakers: Dr. Donald Leopold, Ned Tillman and Claire Sawyers, who are noted experts in their field. In addition, four post-seminar workshops will be offered in the afternoon. This seminar will provide an opportunity for nursery and landscape professionals, land managers, garden club and native plant society members, environmental educators, homeowners, and others to increase their knowledge about native vegetation, sustainable practices, and the conservation of our native landscapes.

Throughout the day, our Native Plant Sale, featuring a dozen of the region’s finest native nurseries, will provide an opportunity to learn more about species native to the Piedmont region and to purchase a wide selection of top quality native plant material. Seminar registrants and Irvine members will be admitted to the plant sale beginning at 7:30 a.m.
