PumpkinFest

Join us on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 for Irvine’s annual fall harvest festival!

PumpkinFest is a fun event for families and communities to celebrate the delights of autumn. Each October, hundreds of families gather at Irvine to enjoy a wholesome day of music, food and fun. There's plenty to do, including:

  • Take a hay ride on our wagon.
  • Explore the Outdoor Classroom.
  • Decorate a pumpkin and explore the pumpkin patch. You can even take one home!
  • Make a scarecrow.
  • Ride a pony.
  • Sing along with acoustic musicians in the amphitheater.
  • Make music together in the drum circle.
  • Watch nature puppet shows.
  • Create a nature-themed project at art stations.
  • Meet animals from Irvine's exhibit hall.
  • Pet farm animals at the petting zoo.
  • Enjoy a guided nature walk with a naturalist.
  • Join a three-legged pumpkin sack race.
  • And much more!

The admission fee is $10 per child. All activities are included. Children under 3 (and not participating in activities) are free.

The hours of PumpkinFest are:
Saturday, October 8: 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Sunday, October 9: 12-4 p.m.

Please note that Irvine Nature Center will be closed from 9-11 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. on 10/8, and 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. on 10/9 so that staff can prepare and break down for PumpkinFest.
