Hopefully, you will consider shopping at our nature store.  Where you can shop in a relaxing setting and find something for everyone on your shopping list, knowing that your purchase helps further environmental education.  Our products are hand selected to be useful and practical.

My favorite picks for the gardener this year are the beautiful Sloggers garden shoes that we just got in.  I wear them all day long and they are great to walk the dog or run out to get the paper.  They come in two colors (I have both!) and boots too.  We also have some wonderful garden gift sets with gloves and tools.  My favorite is the “Weeding Gift Set”, I never seem to get them all.

If you have a birder on your list, we have a great selection of feeders.  Our most popular feeder is the Brome Squirrel Buster.  I recommend spending just a little more and getting a good feeder that you don’t have to replace so often.  Droll Yankees has just introduced a new tube feeder that is so easy to clean, this would make an excellent gift along with a bag of bird seed.  Add a Sibley Field Guide to Eastern Birds and you have a great gift.  Try a bag of safflower  seed or “Flaming Squirrel Seed Sauce” to defeat those squirrels you’ve been battling.  Mammals hate the hot taste but birds don’t taste it – my dog who eats everything wouldn’t even go near it.

We just got in a shipment of games from a supplier in Canada.  These games are cooperative games that teach working together to reach a goal instead of competing against each other.  They are selling very quickly.

Of course some of our best sellers remain the Klean Kanteen, Chico bags, and kitchen composters.  These make great and useful gifts.
